The WWR has been asked by the Nam Knights to assist them in a Dedication mission. The VFW Post #2 in Phila will be honoring a Marine, Edward Dubeck, by naming there canteen after him. Below is a Bio of our hero

Edward Dubeck was born in Philadelphia on October 16th, 1920. He enlisted in the Marine corps on Aug. 24th, 1942 and was honorably discharged on November 6th, 1945. He served in the south pacific on the Marshall islands, the mariannas ( Saipan, Tinian ) and Iwo Jima . During his service to his country, Dubeck received two silver stars and a Purple Heart for his actions in the pacific. Ed and his wife Vi have been married for 60 years. They have one son Edward and two daughters Karen and Patti, 5 grandchildren, four great-grand children.
That's right, 2 silver stars and a purple heart. The Nam Knights also asked if we could coin this American hero in the way only the WWR can do. ( That will be the Famous WWR "Mug & Hug" but lets be easy on the Mug.... )

This mission is scheduled to be held at 15:00 At the VFW Post 2 4636 Richmond st Phila PA
This is a multi state request, lets show up in mass to support this hero and show him that we do care.
