Beginning on Aug 14th Five AMERICAN heroes, Veterans of World War I and World War II, will finally be laid to rest, The ceremony will begin at 10:00 at the Volk Leber Funeral Home located in at 789 Teaneck Road Teaneck, NJ 07666.
These creamains will be honored at this ceremony. Following the ceremony in Teaneck, All Five Heroes will be escorted to their interment at the General Doyle Veterans Cemetery. (Near Ft. Dix) ---- Three on Friday Aug 14th and then Two on Monday Aug 17th.)

The WWR and other Military support groups from the Southern Part of NJ will rally to meet the escort at the Richard Stockton Rest Area (NJ Turnpike between Exits 7 and 7A). Depart there at 1300 hrs, arrive at Doyle Cemetery at approx 1330 hrs. 1st service is at 1400 hrs, 2nd service is at 1430 hrs and 3rd service is at 1500 hrs. The Cemetery has a regulation that limits cremation burials to 3 per day. We will be escorting all 5 remains on Friday the 14th and 2 will be interred at separate services on Monday the 17th. Since there will be no escort for Monday we are asking that anyone who can make the Monday services to please attend to stand a flag line. Info for times on Monday will follow.

Rally Date: Aug 14th
Rally Time: 1200 ( Flag Line at 1230 for arrival of the Main Escort)
Rally Location: Richard Stockton Rest Area (NJ Turnpike between Exits 7- 7A)

For Monday the 17th, This will be a Flag Line Only at the Doyle Cemetery.

The purpose of the New Jersey's Mission of Honor for Cremains of American Veterans is to locate, identify and inter the orphaned and abandoned cremations of American veterans through the joint efforts of the Vietnam Veterans of America's NJ State Council and other Veteran Organizations. To provide honor and respect to those who have served this country in time of peace and conflict.

The WWR already participated in the first Honor mission a few months ago where we, along with many other Veteran support groups, escorted the remains of 2 Heroes, Navy Veteran George Wells and Army Veteran Joseph Glass, to the Doyle Cemetery near Ft. Dix and assisted in a Full Military Honors ceremony.

PLEASE let us give these Heroes the RESPECT and HONOR that they should have been given so many years ago.
