This Escort and surprise THANK YOU comes from our very own WWR member “Long John Silver” He tells us that Msg. Joseph Colon was with the Immigration Transport in the Reserves, Msg. Joseph Colon was sent to Iraq for duty from 2004 to 2005. Then again in 2006 and this time he came back injured . Msg Joseph Colon came back on a Medical Detainment, “WTU” Warrior Transition Unit at Fort Dix until his discharge.

Msg. Joseph Colon is a Father of Three Children 2 boys ages 16 and 22 And a girl age10.

We are told that he never received a “WELCOME HOME” from either of his tour of duties. Then being injured and in the WTU at Ft. Dix was specially hard for him and his family.

WELL,… WE CAN CHANGE THAT NOW. LETS show how much we appreciate his Duty, Service and Sacrifice for this GREAT NATION.

The WWR will rally and and form a Flag Line.... Our Hero will be driven to our Rally location where We will surprise him and perform that Famous WWR “Mug & Hug” for this true AMERICAN HERO. Then we will Escort our Hero to "Long John Silvers" Home where the saluteburlcotroops.com will be with friends and Family to Honor this Hero.
