Welcome Home  Lcpl Steven Tash.

Lcpl Steven Tash is home from his tour of Iraq and his family and friends want to celebrate his safe return. The WWR has been asked by Stevens family and A Hero's Welcome to lead the way to the celebration. Of course you know we said "o" hell ya. Lets bring this Marine home in style.
Steven is aware of the party in his favor, but he is not aware we will be picking him up at his Grandmothers house in Deptford and knocking on the door by way of throttles and horns in our grand fashion.  We will then escort him to his family's house in West Deptford for the grand entrance.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Below is a letter Lcpl Tash's sister Lisa had written to us.
On August 11, 1987 Steven was given the name Steven Thomas to honor his father and his great uncle Tom.  Our Uncle Tom was a US Marine who was a man of honor and pride and those qualities were then  instilled into Steven.  Since then he had a dream, a dream to follow in the footsteps of the man who gave him his name, to be made into a Marine, to become one of the few and the proud, to become a member of the nations most noble brotherhood.
After graduating high school in June 2006 Steven was already enlisted for the Marines and set off to Paris Island for bootcamp and training.  Here he was made into a Marine, learned their way of life, and became one of the “Always faithful” brotherhood which distinguishes the Marine Corps from any other.
To see my brother, not only follow his dream, but to fulfill it and to excel was a moment of immense pride for myself, my father and my mother.  My mother was the one who always believed and pushed Steven to realize he can be anything he wants to be and she was his number one fan.  Today she is not only his number one fan but also his guardian angel who protects him as he serves and protects our country and his brothers.
After bootcamp Steven was sent to his base in North Carolina where he became a member of the Military Police.  He has moved up to the rank of Lance Corporal and has transformed into a man of honor that is filled with the values and ethics of the Marine Corp. Last year after losing our mother our family chain was broken and devastated and our family will never be the same.  His first tour in Iraq was cut short by our fallen angel and when he returned he brought with him the Marine way of protecting his family and being a leader.

Since then he went back to Iraq and has now finally returned from a 7 month tour.  We are here today to celebrate not only Steven and his heroic actions of protecting and serving our country, not only to celebrate his honor, courage and commitment, but also to celebrate that our family is now reunited as my mother watched over Steven to bring him back safely to my father and I.  So let’s all raise a glass and cheers to my brother, LCPL Tash and his homecoming…
